Located in the heart of Stonesfield The White Horse has been used for many events as well as a local ‘watering hole’ and restaurant.

Stonesfield Parish Council had registered the White Horse as an Asset of Community Value. Consequently when the pub was being put up for sale Oxfordshire County Council issued a Disposal Notice which gave the community the opportunity to make an offer for the pub.

The community of Stonesfield decided to take action to save The White Horse which was the last pub in the village and formed Stonesfield Community Pub as a limited company.
